My dogs were going nuts. I went out in the yard to see what was going on and they were playing/chasing with this doggy who was running along the fence. I live in the county and there are a LOT of dogs that run loose so I didn't think much about it. Later, my dogs were getting loud again, I saw this guy across the street and called him over. I could see every bone in his back and all his ribs, his tail bone sticks out so far and he is covered in blood. He only had a few cuts on his nose- nothing that looked like it should have been that bloody- maybe he killed something? I gave him some food and when he was done eating I leashed him and rubbed his legs. He laid down in my lap!! Not just next to me but he crawled into my lap. He is so terribly sweet. I want to keep him but I don't know if the husband will let me. I already have three dogs, three cats and a bird and no money. I don't even know if I could pay for shots for the poor guy and who knows if he is sick or not. Right now he is sleeping in a crate in my garage. I put an old dog bed out for him while I set up the crate and he immediately laid down on it and didn't want to get up. It's going to be 32 degrees tonight. I know the garage isn't exactly warm, but its better than outside, plus he has a soft fluffy bed to sleep on. He is so pretty and so sweet- why do people treat their animals this way? I think he is about 10 months, maybe even a year. He doesn't have baby teeth but he still squats to pee, hehe. So cute.
